jaguar cichlid question

Are jaguars Very agressive, as ive read this up??

reason in asking is that ive got a jaguar but its not agressive.

Mine is territorial, not aggressive. If you give them space they're fairly docile IME.

jags are probably on the top ten list for most aggressive cichlids. they are very aggresive, and just because it isn't now doesn't mean that it won't snap later on in its life.

My 15" Jag got punked by an oscar lol

If they have room to have their own territory they wont seek and destroy other tankmates for fun (unless it sees them as food).


A breeding pair is a whole different story though.

Eventually you'll have territorial issues with that stock list.

im trying to get rid of:
1 male blue acara,
and 1 male green terror

If the green terrors start to breed I think the Jag is going to be in trouble.
