Jaguar Cichlid Sexing

Hi All,

I've been babysitting a jag for someone for quite a while now. It's in a 60G tank and has gone from 2 inches to 7 inches in about 9 months time.

I've gone through quite a few articles which say that the males are bigger as compared to females. And also they lose the horizontal bands unlike the females. Going by that I think I've a female, but I'm still not sure as mine has quite a few spots as well.

Please take a look and let me know.

Thanks Mike. Hopefully her new tank will be ready in time. She's outgrowing my tank pretty fast.
