Jaguar cichlid with ick

Can a jaguar cichlid handle the salt treatment? Temp is at 85 and gradually rising.

Yes Jag can handel it. Raise the temp to 86F and does with aquarium salt at 1 tbls. per 5 gallons of water. Should look better in a few days. Remember if you change the water redose with salt so you maintane the correct level.

Alot of people reccomend 88-90degrees, and 1-2 per gallon? Whats the max salinity and temp i can safely go? I have a hydrometer, i can just test as i go
