Jaguar cichlids color/maturing

He is about 1 inch long. When will his colors really come through? Is it normal to look like this as a baby? Open to any discussion and information about Jaguar Cichlids.

Do you have any pictures of now or recent? And mine also looks similar to yours. Hope he gets awesome colors!

Makes me wanna purchase a jaguar. Could you keep them with other cichlids?

Depends on it’s personality. I had a chill jag that wouldn’t let any cichlid into his 4 -5 foot space in an 8 foot tank. He would chase them away.

They won't start showing nice colors until 3-4 inches
