I'm just thinking about the rate at which protein is digested in SA chiclids. By that I mean the rate waste nitrogen is excreted after feeding.
Do they give off ammonia really quicky or a bit later? In a tank where lets say feeding is moderate, twice daily for an adult pair of Jaguar Cichlids.
Do cichlids produce waste from digestion very quickly, or is digestion and excretion a slower process? Or does it run at a constant level?
