jaguar fast growth rate

my jag grew more than 5 inches in 6 months. is that fast or what!?this is him at about 3-4 inches (I got him at 1.5 inches and this is him now at around 7 inches

Not fast normal lol. Jags have a very quick growth rate up until like 10 inches then it slows

I did loads of water changes I do like a 25-50 % wc every 3 days

Sounds like about average growth, to me. I usually find that a combination of frequent water changes and frequent/large feedings (though never so large to have to deal with uneaten food) are what cause the fastest growth.

I feed him enough. I don't want him to get fat. and yes fish get fat a lot of people on here have fat bloated looking jags.
