I have a 4-5 inch jaguar it has like a tear in its back fin will this heal?

It depends on how bad it is and how deep the tear goes. Most will heal in 3-6 days with good tank conditions though.
Add some salt (1tbs per 5 gallons). If you post a pic we will be able to tell. How did it happen? Fish usually heal quicky, just depends on how bad it is. You could also add some melafix. Keep an eye on it to make sure it does not get infected.
that kind of tear should heal just fine without salt, i usually just use salt when they have actual wounds on their bodies. if its just a split fine and not a chunk out of the fine it should heal within a week if your water is good, if its a chunk then it will take a little longer, but from your description it just sounds like a split fin either from chasing a tank mate or from being chased
yeah it will be fine and most likely gone in a week, its probably from that O chasing it or something but no bid deal, split fins happen a lot in large aggressive cichlid communities
