I'm looking into keeping and breeding jaguar mang. does anyone have good info for me?? our any advice

thanks

yo will need a 100G+ tank for the pair, if i was you, id buy a pair from rapps or conkel ask him t pick you out a decent male.

the breeding is pretty simle just keep an eye out and a divider handy, the males get very aggro during breeding and beat the snot out of the females until they lay IME they are pretty straight forward just keep them in clean water and keep them healthy, and dont forget that divider.

let us know what ure gunna do. and pics aswell!

do you have any info about red devil or madis cichlids. bay snook sound good to. ahhhh so many choices such a small tank

hey man you need a decent size tank for them, divider is quite helpful but not always needed my two are quite happy in one of my 6ft they breed every 3 weeks roughly and they dont really fight much the female is the most aggro one she attacks the male when there is fry but he doesnt really fight back, also put a terrorcotta(spelling?) pot in the tank with them they lay there eggs on them and its easier to see how the fry are goin. i feed mine a variety of different foods i use pellets, prawns, bloodworms, meal worms, chicken, goldfish, crickets and that seems to keep them happy

hope that helps

ok I can get a 90 gallon long from a friend for 20 dollars will they be ok in there???

i've had several sucessful spawns in a 90gal. just keep an eye out for aggro from both parents. i use egg with a small cutout just big enough for the female to escape if the male gets to aggressive.
