I posted earlier that I bought a new jag and its only about 2 inches. Small little guy but I wanted to know if there is any way to positivly tell if it is a male or female??? I want a male so if it is a female I want to trade it for a male. Does anyone know a 100% method to tell the sexes apart without waiting till there like 6 inches??

I dont believe it is possible to tell the sex of a jag at that size. You need to let them develop/grow a bit more.

Its not easy but Males are larger, and more colorful, also the mails can be longer finned.Females are smaller and rounder at that size you have no chance
