jaguar in quarantine

my catfish has attacked my jaguar and has damaged both of his side fins badly. the jaguar is 4 1/2 inches can i put him in a 5 gallon quarantine for a week or two?

yes, he should be fine....good aeration and change 50% of the water evey three days or so....give him somewhere to hide from the cat

I think it would be ok but I would change the water 50% probably daily. Aside from the fact that a 4.5" fish in a 5 gallon tank is going to foul the water very quickly but you also want the water as clean as possible to help encourage fast and best healing.
