Jaguar or Salvini for showcase

Hello I want to keep a single one of these I have both right now. Which fish would someone walk by and be like damnnnn thats a sweet fish. And how much mass and size do female jaguars get on average like how much smaller are they than oscars. I just want to keep one that would be the coolest to show off to people the salvini is male and the jag is female
 
Easily the Jag. Not to bash sals, but there is no comparison; plus the salvini would just hide anyway.

Even a female jaguar? I love them both and am more lenient towards the Jaguar but she is about 4-5 inches and gets beaten up by an Oscar not even an inch larger. Are jags passive?
 
Salvini are by far my favorite looking fish. That said, I've been keeping them for years and have yet to have one that didn't sit in his cave all day long unless it came out to murder his tank mates or breeding partner.

Yea I agree, you want some large dithers, SDs have worked for me, or a pair. If his other option is a jag, I'm guessing he's considering a 125gal min tank. If that's the case he can easily do a pair of salvinis.

I keep one of my small salvini in with a bigger nic and the sal is super active, always begging for food at the top of the tank.
