Jaguar (Parachromis managuensis)a no go

a buddy of mine from work asked if i could take this fish otherwise he was going down the toilet so i went and picked it up it is a 6 in jaguar like the one in the pic i dident want him to flush him so i have him in a custom holding tank in my 180gal will this fish get along with my 6in rck if not i will need to find him a home the jag not the knife any info will help

more than likely they'll get along.

how big is the royal knife?
 
royal clows get big .. and they are aggressive when needed to be .. i dont know how much more the jag is then oscars .. since mine are in separate tanks .. but i dont think there should be much of a problem as long as the knife has plenty of room to hide
 
well that did not go well at all the jag felt the tank out and decided that the clown had to move out of his spot and the clown wanted none of it the clown was laying on top of him almost like he was trying to smother the jag every time the jag moved the knife moved with him and did the same thing laying on top of him after a few min the clown took a chunk out of the jags tail fin and was chasing him around the tank buy the time i got in with the net the jag lost an eye i dont know if the clown took it or he hit it on a paice of drifwood so hes back in the holding tank
 
LOL .. yea i told you that the knife would beat up the jag if anything .. my O's get hit a lot by my royal knife .. he is a beast ..
