Jaguar problem?

So my jag has slowly lost his appetite and has a sunken belly. He started slowing down on eating and I thought he was being picky. Now he doesnt even eat krill. Water parameters look good. He pooped yesterday and it was a normal amount and not discolored or stringy. He doesnt flash or have clamped fins. Hes active and swims around he also chases the pleco and digs. He just acts like he doesnt want to eat and spits some of his food out if he does grab it. I was going to feed him krill with epsom salt but he wont eat krill today. Any ideas on what might be happening or the next step to try and fix it?

Don't offer food for a day or two then hopefully the Jag will be ready to eat again.

Wait 1 week or 2. That's a fat enough Jag that I wouldn't start worrying until you reach 1 month of not eating. Normal colored poo is also a good sign.

Jag update. He seems to be doing good. Two days after starting this thread he came up to the glass at feeding time. I got some fd krill and soaked it in epsom salt. He ate five pieces and was swimming around with a little attitude like he was feeling better. He didnt flash or have clamped fins but I added epsom salt to the water just as a precaution.
His color never changed like he was stressed during this whole time and his attitude didnt either for the most part. I have two ideas of what might have caused the change in eating. There was one jag left in the tank with him from the group of 5 I started with. The jag was half his size and they acted like they were trying to pair up at times. I was hoping it was a female and they would have fry. The big male would act like he was courting her/ him but when her/him would stop playing along and swim away the male would attack. It went on like that for a couple weeks when I decided the smaller jag needed to be removed before she/ he ended up dead. Im still not sure if it was a smaller male just trying to survive or a female that ultimately didnt want to pair with the male. I wonder if my male was just sulking after losing the tank mate.
For the last Couple months I have been removing rocks from his tank as hes getting bigger and I didnt need anything for the other jags to use for hides. I also removed a decent sized piece of wood a week before this post. Im wondering if removing so many things could cause a mini cycle to take place. I didnt check parameters until I posted this thread. They were good but the tank may have just finished the mini cycle by that time. What do you guys think could that have caused some stress and a mini cycle to take place?

What did you see to think you experienced a mini-cycle? Removing decor won't cause a mini-cycle unless you don't have enough biological filtration

I didnt see anything other than the change in the jags eating. Thats why I asked everyones opinion if that could have possibly happened. Im gonna continue to watch the tank closely and check parameters over the next couple weeks.
