Jaguar to 6"?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How big is it now? This will happen quickly, especially a male. Water quality, temperature, and nutrition will all play into this. I would say measure in months not years.

A 2-3" with all factors mentioned above should reach 6" in 10 months or less.

Won't take long. With proper care and tank size, and depending on their size, they can reach 6" in less than 6 months.

mine finally took to prawns and tilapia fillets. so he should grow alot more now, then when all he would eat was flake food. now f he would just eat my NLS pellets.

the female i use to have wen't from 1'' to 8'' in around a year and a half

Nice! That is great info. Mine is only about an inch and a half right now eating mostly bloodworm. I got it in the spring and it was tiny. It recently really started to grow. Here's hoping it grows quickly from here on out. Thanks to all that replied!
