From what I have read Its next to impossible to get a Oscar to breed with a different species of other fish.

i would say it'd be highly, highly unlikely. they may breed with other Astronotus species but would be very unlikely to breed outside their genus.

I have seen an male oscar try to breed with a female blood parrot but nothing came of if.
