cichlid city
As u all know,i had a dovii pushing 14 inches in a 75 gallon! He was feeling cramped in his tank,so he now resides in my bros home in the 150 gallon long.I will have pics of him in his happy home soon.I had creative ideas for my empty 75 gallon,so i bought a juvinile jaguar cichlid around 4 inches. Will have pics up soon.Would my jaguar be alrite for life in a 75 by himself,or would i have to upgrade.

If you stay on water changes you'll be ok for quite a long time, maybe life. If it's a huge mean male you may have to upgrade later.

Agreed...chances are good it will be fine, but the occasional beast may may a change necessary.

female no male we'll it would like a bigger tank they can get around 16'' so i'd say longer would be better but either way you'll be fine for a while

Well you saw how cramped your 14" dovii was in that tank, so why would the jag be any different? I'm sure it would be fine though up to 12".

I think any fish up to about 14 inches is good in a 75. Bigger than that probably needs a 125+. My 14 inch male FH flourished in his 75.
