A friend has this jag for sale he's 11in and for $ 75. Is this a good deal I've never had a jag so what there temp and computability

Very aggressive, with a lot of personality. I had a jaguar/dovii hybrid died not too long ago. Loved the way he would interact with me. Would play with the magnetic algae cleaner by attacking it when I moved it, and got pretty good at smacking it loose. It would need a large tank. and probably would'nt play well with other fish, esp. if they fit it its mouth! I don't know about the price, if it is good or not. If you do get it, watch your fingers, jaguars have a serious bite! Great fish if you have the space for it.

75 is expensive for one well it would be here anyway. they are agressive but can be a real wet pet.

Where I am you can usually buy a jag like that for 15 to 25 bucks so I'd say that's way over priced in my opinion

I didn't know any better, I paid 100.00 for my jag/dovii. Where I live, large fish like that don't show up often in trades. The cost didn't matter much to me at the time, I knew that "Jag" was not an ordinary jaguar. I still miss him.

i just picked up a 9'' male for $10 but most people around here dont know what they have until its to big for their tank and is killing everything so i use my knowledge and tell them that i will give them almost nothing for them lol

As far as compatibility it's hit or miss. My current jag is pretty mellow. Although others I've had have been complete psychos but overall territorial usually aggressive fish can live with others but will kill if it wants to

if your willing to spend the money go for it, they are great fish to keep.
