Well, only have 1, but will be getting more.
My CK, got it yesterday, march 20.

He is already eating NLS.
He has 7 spots on one side and 8 on the other, at 6".
Will update weekly.

Yeah, there are 3 species of BGK available here.
Apteronotus albifrons
Apteronotus camposdapazi
Apteronotus leptorhynchus

Which species is the rarest?

Here is a few pics of the best fish I have ever owned. The first and last pic is of CK's Bozo & Crusty that I bought at 8 & 9"'s 2-2-2010 from Pet-Co and have grown 2" sense then. The middle pic's of a BK that I bought several weeks later. After keeping a number of fish through the years, I must say that the knives and puffers have my heart strings for now. They are a blast to have the owner of being their keeper.
