Best shots at measurement i can get without Man handling him. His colors are crazy right now because of some Convict dithers laid some eggs.

What he can look like heh

Looking good. Probably a sibling to mine, bought him mid October from A Place For Pets.

Could be. I got mine from Sierra Fish and Pets, in Bellevue/Factoria Square area.

Thanks for the comments!

Thanks MDH.

Nice Grammy. Just got mine from Rapps like 3 weeks ago. He is 3.5 inches. Originally bought as a trio but the male killed both of the females. Very skittish fish though.

Thanks, mine's about 6 inches and still skittish. I'm trying some small convict's as dithers but he still hides when people enter the room. Funnily they are small enough for him to eat, but they flare up and he pauses before he tries to strike lol They're all still quicker than he is. I'm not sure how this will turn out heh but the last convict i kept with him he really beat up.

He's growing up nicely. Convicts might make a good target fish for a Grammodes but as a dither, they won't bring him out much ime. They need fish that will swim around in the mid to upper tank. A while back I added a shoal of spotted silver dollars to my tank and now he's out and about all the time. Some tall fake plants are good for the SD's so they can outmanuver him when he gets feisty.
