Japanese Mat?

Are there different types of Japanese mat?
My Matala mats have all worm out Need to replace them, trying to canvass japanese mats, but found huge price difference with lfs.
if green mats, are there still different types?
or shoudl all green japanese mats be the same and all blue ones also the same?

they all do the same I use green and blue. its just a different grade to my understanding, so it will block larger or smaller particles getting in or out of the system. you can even get a white one which is like filter wool.

Different color has different density, but price should be the same, unless they're from different manufacturer, such as Real Deal vs Knock-off. Also, each lfs may have different mark-up

thanks Tried matala, but I'm quite disappointed as it does not last really long . My matala has softened and is now flat .

The link is just FYI in regard of color code. I use Japanese at for 3+ years, and they're still good. There's knock-off ones out there, so do some research..

thanks I'm not sure if the green one i'm buying is original or knockoff, the blue one is a little cheaper.
