I would like to add some japanese trapdoor snails to my 56 column tank to help scavenge left over fish food and decaying plants. I have floating salvania , frog bits, a compact sword and a dumb cane plant with roots in water to help with nitrates. An Aquaclear 70 hob and Eheim 2217 canister for bio and mechanical, both filter has aquaclear sponge prefilter. I have 3 spotted raphael and 3 striped raphaeal all is about 2 to 3 in length. I have two feather fins about six inch and one callichtys callithys about seven inches and one 3 inch blue gourami would the trapdoor snail be a fine addition?

This is still too much for snails. Your catfish will not do well in temp suited for these snails. Either way, you can't keep snails in that tank at all.
