I would like to add some japanese trapdoor snails to my 56 column tank to help scavenge left over fish food and decaying plants. I have floating salvania , frog bits, a compact sword and a dumb cane plant with roots in water to help with nitrates. An Aquaclear 70 hob and Eheim 2217 canister for bio and mechanical, both filter has aquaclear sponge prefilter. I have 3 spotted raphael and 3 striped raphaeal all is about 2 to 3 in length. I have two feather fins about six inch and one callichtys callithys about seven inches and one 3 inch blue gourami would the trapdoor snail be a fine addition?

I have not kept those particular catfish to comment on that compatability, but what temperature is the tank? Trapdoors are temperate water, and rarely do well in tropical temps.
