So I picked up my DSLR body today, just entry level stuff. Canon EOS400D w/ BG-E3 Battery Grip and an F1.8 50mm Nifty-Fifty.

Won't lie, not happy with half these shots but I'll put them up to please the masses.

Satanoperca leucosticta (Final 2 are my Dominant Male - Impossible to catch good photos of)

My second dominant male Geophagus sp. "Araguaia Orange Head". Pity about the background causing a loss of detail on the focal area but it's hard to catch aggressive courting fish still.
