Japonic Cleaner Shrimp = Amano Shrimp?

I found this aquabid auction for Freshwater Japonic Cleaner Shrimp.

Are these the same as Amano shrimp? If not, what are they? Can anyone recommend any other source for amano shrimp? Thanks.

No those are not Amano Shrimp... also never buy from that seller I hear very bad things about them.

Those are no amanos.

Judging by the name I think they would as amanos. amanos are Caridina japonica

but the item closed and i can't see the picture

"Japonic" or "Japonica" ARE Amano Shrimp.

The picture that the seller provided is (I think) a ghost shrimp.


mgk is correct, the Amano species is Japonica.
