Jar keep bitting on tank

Hey guys need a bit of help here.
I just bought a Jardini .. the LFS claim it to be Pearl Arowana but i know its a Jardini from australia .. its about 4 inch in size currently keeping it in a 4x2x2.5 fish tank along with my 3 birchils, 2 channa assam .. so far they get along just find because the Jar spend its time on the top while the rest are bottom dwelers. The problem is ..

My Jardini (marcus is the name) keep on bitting on glass .. the corner and sometimes the front glass .. is it common ? or it has got to do with my setup .. ? i do have a lot of plant on the bottom tank but not on the top .. ? i check my ph and its at 6.8 .. so can you guys please help me out .. thanks ..

Since you mention you recently bought it..he's adjusting to his new home and everything in it, just monitor him and give him time to adjust....

I had a jar that did this too...Only it was trying to attack things outside the tank. Also the jardini and pearl arowana are one in the same.

and a 4 ft. long tank wouldn't be able to house it for a long time.

marcus is okay now .. i will get rid of all the fish inside the tank and replace it with neon tetra soon .. heheheh ..
