I think that as the Jar grows the bass would get hurt. I'd say keep them seperate.

i think it will do fine. i have an almost 1 ft jar with many cichlids thats at least 40% its size and it doesnt bother them at all.

careful with size of the pbass my 8" pbass munched a 4.5" jar 24hrs after introducing him to my tank.... it can work though! but becareful... a pbass's mouth and appetite are huge!

my pbass n leichardti (kinda like jardini) kinda duke it out sometimes. i doubt either will hurt eachother, but be ready to watch them duke it out.

real bad idea well for me it was jardini went crazy killed my peacock and a bichir now he is in a tank by himself
