the side of my jar body is all scratch up do to jumping and hit the top of the tank. the scales are scratch and i want to know if it will heal up. or will it be scar. right now im treated it with melafix.

It will heal. Put in salt at a levl spoon for each 20 gallons.

But you need to watch and see what is causing the stress.

yeah, its not biggie, fishes scratch themselve plenty of time from wood and rocks in the tank but yeah they heal up.

Yeah my silver does it sometimes to. I can hear him at night hitting the lid from time to time.
