Here's a pic of my jar. 12" and my payara 10" both get along jars fins are split from when I got him but are heeling good and both eat silver sides I sould say the jar eats anything............

Jeff that Payara is so awesome man great pic! How do you feed him the silversides, do you just drop them in or do you tie them with fishing line! I have a few red tails that wont eat the silversides unless i use the fishing line! How big is that tank and how long until he ate the silversides!

I just drop a silver side by him and he swims lighting fast and grabs it, it took a while to get him eating silver sides daily tank size is 60"x18" x25" will be getting a larger tank in 2007

thats the way I got him but they look better now then what they did

Keep a close look out. When the jar settle down and stablise. It might turn aggressive.
But nice comm if u manage to get them together.
