hi, Im new here.
I recently got a very good deal for a 180 with stand and hood and was planning on moving my curent marine stuff into it. But, i had always wanted a arawana. From my reading some people think a 180 is not big enough for a jardini for life, but some think its ok. I doubt i would get a bigger tank in the future. but if more people think 180 is fine for life, i might just do it.

IMHO it's fine. I've never seen a jar in a tank that was over 24", so 6x2x2 should be perfect. Be careful with tankmates though ... jars can be mean bast*rds! ;)

IMHO I think a 180 would be a decent home for a Jardini.

I say go for it :D

I am, tottally, an aro maniac! a 180 would do for the Jar.

Having said this, you mention Puffers...Puffers ( all of them, SW and FW ) are the nmost magnificent fish to own..no fish ( not even triggers ) have the same rapport with their owners.

I cannot help you.....:nilly:
