Just picked an XL Jardini yesterday, but he has not been eating. He's very active in terms of swimming around, but hasn't eaten a thing. I tried pellets, shrimp, feeders. He just swims right past it without a look.

+1 give him chance to settle in he'll eat , if you've got dimmable lights keep them low perhaps a bit of surface cover (floating plants) the fake plastic pond Lilie's work well

I have moon lights that I set overnight on my LEDs. Maybe when I set them overnight he will start chowing down. My XL silver arowana in my other tank is a beast, tries to bite through my net when I put feeders in and devours anything I set in there, from pellets to flake.

Try not to give the jar feeders as its like crack to them (very difficult to get them off ) plus it promotes aggression IMO which limits tankmates if any , good luck with him I'm sure he'll eat within a few days , any pics ? :)
