hi...im just wondering what do you guys think if i put a chinese algae eater with my jardini? (jardini is 8 inches and its in a 150 gallon tank). i just want something to clean the floor(no gravel). i put in a pleco(3inches) before and it was killed by my convict(this convict is too fast for me to catch in the big tank so i gave up in catching it). thanks everyone

Some people have reported keeping jardini's in large community tanks, but you need a larger more docile fish that wont torment the Jar but also can handle and tolertate the Jars aggression. I know Miguel has a smaller one in a very large arow community tank with all arows of different sizes... But a chinese algae eater will most likely be lunch for the Jar, maybe a large pleco would be a better idea...

i agree, algae eater woulds most likely be eaten :)
maybe you can try larger pleco. and put big driftwood as hiding place.
