jardini and fire eels

do you think my jardini would be ok with a fire eel,i know jardini's can be nasty.
i was thinking of geting some think to go with him in his new tank which is a 6x2x2.
jardini is 12inch and the fire eel is 14or15inch.if you dont think the fire eel would be ok then any ideas on what would be.

I have a small tiretrack eel, maybe 15", and he is fine with my bigger predators. Had a large aro in with him a while ago and plan on getting another soon. Planning on a black aro around 10-12"

Fire eel should be fine with a Jardini.

thanx guys.reason why i asked is becos i got a perruno catfish to put in with him and he didnt like it one bit,,,our jardini kept having ago at the catfish but that was in a smaller tank and our jardini had been in it for a long time before the catfish came.so im thinking bigger tank now and the jardini has only been in a few days.
fingers crossed he is ok with the fire eel.

jardini have a reputation for not tolerating other fish.
its a kinda try it and see situation
