as the title says im looking to buy a rather small jar aro...

i keep finding them in the vendor forums for quite a bit more than they should be selling for...

any hints on where to get a good deal on one or two of these awesome fish?

thanks for the tip ill pm him.

anyone else?

"can be" is a very accurate phrase.

3" fish for $45 is IMO a high price, i saw a few on aqua bid that size for only 20 dollars. thats more of a price im willing to pay, if im paying 45 there had better be priority shipping included!!!!

are these guys very hard to breed or something? i never see other hobbiests with them, do they not breed in captivity or something?

A good amount of people have them, but silvers are more popular because jars can rarely go with other fish due to there agression, but silvers can go in a community tank 99% of the time.

dont silvers also grow faster/bigger?
