hey guys. im getting a tank custom built for my house and its dimensions are 7 foot long by 2.5 foot wide by 3 foot deep. is this good enough to house a fully grown jardini? and how big can jardini's potentially grow to? thanks for ure help!

First off good luck keeping 2 or 3 together, read the jardini tankmates sticky. And second they can reach up to 3 ft but are seldom seen past 2'. As for keeping it with a rtc I would make sure u have more then enough room for both and only hand feed the rtc and keep it full so it won't go for the jar.

my pond is 16 feet by 8 feet by 5 foot deep. should be enuf. the RTCS never even move. they hide under the bridge and sleep all day. thats y the pond looks so boring and bland. hmmmm

besides i really dont think the jar can kill my RTCs. they are monsters. furthermore RTCS are bottom dwelling fish which means the jar will have 16 feet of space to swim all to himself :o

You need to be RTC's are predators they will go after your Jar. They sleep all day as they are nocturnal hunters. So when the lights go out they could go out for you jar as well. Just my .02

Better off with silvers I'd think...bigger than jars. RTC have crazy appetites, true l\/lonsters.
