Jardini arowana. to good of an eater?

ok so ive noticed during feeding days, my Jar eats A LOT. to the point where he has a bulge on his body and only stays on one side of the tank. is this a bad thing? right now i can see him and he is just acting really sluggish. IME, ive never had a fish that ate so much in one sitting.

well i use probably 10 deforsted market shrimp (cut up) this also feeds my 4 bichirs in the tank.

seems like your overfeeding like i will feed my jar till he bulges up but he still swims around fine

thats a lot of shrimp i never give my guy more than two

then how do i feed my jar and my bichirs, if put it all at once i know all of em are eating, just the jar gets a lot of it.

Hold the shrimp in your hand, dunk it in the tank, and release the food near the bottom?

lol the jar will eat that too. lol. the tank lights are off but i just checked on him and he is swimming normally now.

i think i might have to feed him 3 full shrimps and then feed the rest of the fish. because what he eats is most likely equivalent to 3 whole shrimp.

mabye with a skewer poke the shrimp and have the bichirs eat that
