I wanted to know if a jardini arowana could go with a white pearl stingray, red sevrum, and sds. I know they are very aggresive and its usually a 50/50 shot depending on the fish but wanted to know if this would work out for awhile.
Tank is 210 gallon and not permanent home for stingray I know my tank is small for it in the future.

Seems like the common theme I hear from all my friends who own(ed) them is. Ya it will work, then one day they usually go pshyco and kill all your expensive fish that you care about.

Yah I had one before but it died of unknown reasons I believed it got spooked and damaged itself pretty bad. I think if I raise them young I can get away with it I will think about it the only thing im concerned the arowana will kill is the sevrum.

Thus far my Jar and SDs work well together. As you will see there are a lot of SDs (15 of them) so its difficult for the Jar to single them out. He does chase one or two every now and again. My Jar is still young, and this is my first time keeping one so it may not work in the future. I just have to wait and see.

Regarding the sevs - It may work, but from what I have heard about Jars I would say the odds are not in your favour. The Jar will be able to see them as "distinct" fish and target them easier. As soon as he does it may not turn out to well for the sevs.

What is your set up like? Will the sevs have cover like lots of drift wood? How old/what size will they all be when you put them in the tank? There are a number of variable to take into consideration that could work towards your success.

The jardini is gonna be smaller than everything in the tank I already have the other fish my setup is an open tank with a decent sized piece of driftwood in the front. I would plan on rehoming fish if wen the jardini is bigger and turns on my fish. I have seen ppl succesfully keep them with oscars so we will c. The jardini is a perfect size for being able to growup with its tankmates I plan on adding more rocks to the tank in the future but dont want to take away space for the ray.
