if that was MY fish....i would put it in a QT tank....with nothing but a filter, a heater, and salt and pimafix......the brown bubbles kinda concerns me.

hes in a 78gal by himself, and i have raised the temperature up and have added salt........he actually looks better then 2 days ago with his tail and stuff rotting away.. so yah will hes tail grow back?

oh wow. that looks bad. Looks like hes been thru 10 rounds. I agree. QT tank. raise heat, add salt. Everything will grow back but you HAVE to keep all parameters at a steady constant and clean water.

keep up with the water changes, the tail, looks like it'll grow back, but not as long.

the tal should grow back
thats pretty advanced!
but, make sure you do water changes, and medicate the water every time. salt perhaps?

the bubbles staying too long on top of the water indicate that water might need changing OR its just the medicing, MELAFIX can do that.

hope he gets better

lots of water change and lots of good quality food.

it will grow back, dont worry but remember LOTS of water change!

it will grow back but may not grow equally.. if you want them to be equal when they grow back, prepare to be a surgeon.. lol
