i just got a 6ft 125 gallon tank and i wanted to know if i could gfet a jardini arowana.

Jardinis get well over 24" in length. So eventually the jar would be cramped in your 18" wide tank. Minumum for a jar is at least a 180g, many people say that even that tank is too small.

:iagree:

My Jar is just over a foot and in a 150, and I feel like that's already too small for him. I'm shopping for a 180 for him now, so I would say go for at least a 180 if you can, and then plan on upgrading that as well.

The problem is that they are not nearly as flexible as the silvers or blacks. My silver is about 14" and has not problems turning on a dime...but the Jar is a different story...he corners like an SUV. :nilly:

get it then get a bigger tank later ;)
