Jardini attacked when young

When I first got my jardini it got attacked by a murry cod he lost a fair few scales. now there is a spot on his side where two scales are missing will they grow back??

yeah they will grow back in no time. it usually the barbels you should worry about when it comes to jardinis

Barbels are actually for the balance of the fish from what I've heard and witnessed damaged barbels make them swim slanted

Mine's is missing 1 barble and it swims normally. Jardinis that swim slanted will normally develop drop eye on the side that is slanted (I have seen this with my previous Jardini & Asian)

I presume that's due to its size the ones I've seen r juveniles

It has been missing since it was 4 inches now it is 21 inches
