Hi I just came home and my jardini body is like a S and his body is not straight. did it hit something and screwed his body up? and will he survive this?

do you put in deep tank ? is it young juvenile fish ?
if yes , reduce water level , heavily aerate the water , dim the light and observe for couple days, it should be straighten up

from past exp , it could be something it eaten , body banging / heavy stress could end up the body form s shape

try to find the cause first , it's the best way deal with this problem

I researched it could mybe be broken back?

what I research look like it could be broken back? is 5-6 inch consider juvenile?

yes 5-6" is juvenile
how far the top cover to your water surface ? it can be considered as hurting its back if the jard is jumpy/skittish and hit the top cover hard enough

how did it behave before ? skittish , darting or calm and how deep is your tank ?

its 2 feet deep the water and my jardini is like a L now his body is straight and only his head is crooked don't know whats going on.

Heres a pic of the body u can see it from the glass the body is like a S and not straight.

yeah s shape, i think your water a bit too deep, sometimes a juve cannot cope with that pressure
so lower your water lvl to 1 ft , dont feed , increase aeration , just wait and observe for couple days

I think I lower the water flow and etc but I should not stop feeding since I observe that its very skinny after a few days of not eating.
