Well I am not sure what this is but my jardini would swim up to the surface and in an instant it would act like it is gonna jump but it just do a really loud snap on the surface using it's body. had anybody have experince with this too?
JArdini body snapping on water surfaces.

In my own experience, Jardini is a little skittish but they don't try to hop out of the tank as much as the silver arowana, but still keep a good lid cover.
