aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome! I just recently discovered the Brycon, and I've been itching to pick one up. You think the relative aggressiveness of these fish will balance out? I've heard the Brycon's can be tough customers, and we know that Jar's have a tendency to kill everything in their tank once they reach a certain size.

Ime with something more aggressive than brycon in the tank, they tend to mellow out. Im counting on the aggression of the Jar to make the brycon school together and to keep them from killing each other....and if it works out I may add a wolf fish in a few weeks also so stay tuned.

What sp. of wolf would you put in here? Those things are wild cards. Don't get me wrong, I think it would be awesome to have that much aggression in one tank, I'd just always be nervous about coming home to a Jardini with no Tail, or 1.5 Brycons. :)

Also curious, what's the tank set-up for these guys? I know how big the Jar's supposed to get, but I could never get a clear answer with the Brycons.

Well I had a brycon/dorado/mala community for a few years and I currently have a curupira with my cichla, so no worries there I would probably get a nice mala. My brycons before were too fast for the wolf to catch thats why it worked out, and the max size of the brycon depends on which species, you have to figure out what species you have and try to find information on that species. Mine are Brycon Guatemalensis, and I don't know the max size but I do know that they get pretty big.... Im guessing 12-18".

So far the brycon have "tagged" the jar a couple of times but just as I presumed they're just too fast and agile for him to "tag" back so he's taking his frustrations out on the spotted silver dollars.

Glad to see the fishes are in good condition. Your plan for your fishes sounds interesting. Looking forward to see how things turn out.
