are jardini as agressive as everyone says they are, do you think
it is worth buying a jardini to add to my tank or will there be alot of deaths.

i am currently growing out these fish in a 4-2-2 and am getting a large outdoor pond to put them in soon.

1- tandanus catfish 13 inch
2- salmon tail catfish 5 inch
1- murray cod 6 inch
1- mangrove jack (hasnt been added yet).

thanks

what is the size of the Jr you are contemplating and size of tank?

havent decided on the exact size pond but it would be around a 118 inch (3m) wide, by 40 inch (1m) high, 1900g (7000L) or larger sized pond.

i was thinking of getting a jar on the smaller size and growing it because i can get them alot cheaper when they are smaller and ive heard that they grow very quickly in there first couple of years.but i can get jars anywhere from 2inch (5cm) - 8inch (20cm) at my lfs.

hope this helps

Answered this in the Aussie Native Stocking thread for you mate.

well my decisions have just been made harder with my cod killing both my salmon tails last night.so i wanted some extra opinions on what to do about the jar and the rest of the fish Ive currently got.i haven't got the jar yet but i would really like one and some Australian native tank mates to go with it. would you be able to give your advice on what you think i should do about the cod and the rest of the fish.

thanks
