I was moving some rocks around in my tank and I guess I spooked my aro he nailed one of the rocks in the tank. Well here was the result:

Should I be worried or will this heal on its own

keep his water clean and it will heal on its own

add salt as well

I wouldnt even mess with melafix on this one, thats a pretty minor scrape. Salt and clean water will do the trick
(usually I'm an advocate of melafix, I just dont think its necessary in this instance.)

my jardini when it was alive did the same thing i put stress coat in there to help the healing process because of the aloe vera it should work as well

I woke up this morning and the wound seems to be getting darker. I have added the salt and I have a uv sterilizer so I am hopeing this is enough. Is the darker colour do to the wound forming the scab?

its not exactly forming a scab

but it is definately healing

some scales are missing


remember how the area that loses a scale darkens up after some time?
