So, the only things I’m able to get my jardini to eat are fresh shrimp, crickets , krill or live feeder mollies. I don’t want to use live feeders, so are the other 3 sufficient?

Shrimp and crickets are very good.

Don't think too much of mollies. Could you get tilapia fry?

Thanks, there’s a guy here selling tilapia fry but he won’t sell to me since I said they’d be used as feeders lol

Presumably he would sell them to be grown, sold and eaten by people. I don't understand the morality.

Could you find someone else? Where are you?

I suggest to supplement the prawns with VitaChem or similar. Without a supplement, any fish that eats a lot of prawns will have its organs damaged by, and eventually die from, too much thiaminase.

Ya I don’t know. I messaged him about buying some and when i mentioned they would be feeders, he stopped replying

With my saratoga leichardti (Southern Saratoga) I used fish pieces and live crickets then started putting pellets in the bag with the chopped up fish fillets he eventually ate the fishy smelling pellets then I could feed 100% dried foods.

Thanks, I’ll try that. For some reason mine is very finicky. Sometimes it won’t even eat shrimp, the only thing that seems 100% is live crickets, but at 19” that’s a lot of crickets lol
