congrats,

feeding-as much as it wants without food falling to bottom of tank -

i usually stop feeding when they start to lose interest

folks will chime in, not sure arow are prone to over eating

Doesn’t really go after food that much… I tried floating pellets and he only goes after th‘em when theyre sinking not when they are on the surface..i noticed he spends more time swimming middle than top.. is that normal for this kind of aro?

think he’ll eat when hungry -let it settle -

should eat frozen bloodworms , krill, or sm piece market shrimp

Jardini stays middle to top area of tank compared to silver and black arowana which stays more on top. I feed it until it loses interest, even if it drops to the bottom my arowanas would swim down to get it. i remove whatever they dont eat after 5-10min. I feed market shrimp currently but when my jar came at 5in it was picky and only took blood worms. Looks like a Jar to me, any reason why you don't think it's a jardini?
