anyone know how fast they grow? do they grow pretty fast maybe 1 inch a month or slower? thx

Mine feeds pretty well and has only grown like a half inch in 2 months... They are definitely A LOT slower growers then silver... I was wondering what other peoples experiences with growth rates on jars were also...

my jar went from 2" to 8" in 4 or 5 months

they do grow a lot slower than silvers from my experience. then it also depends on what you feed your jar. feeding feeders will pump up the jar a lot faster than people who feed blood worms, pellets, brine, etc. then also depending on how often you feed.

Depends what you feed it and water quality bud.
if u wanna pump it up try to get commercial farm pellets, Beef Heart and feeders. Also maintain good water quality and keep up with the water changes.

My Jar went from 4" to 10" in about 5 months. Fed him a lot of frozen shrimp.
