Jardini growth

I brought a jardini arowana in May at 3 inches long and now he is 6.5, is this a normal growth rate. I feed him 4 large locusts a day (from local pet shop) and his tank is on the recommended temp. Any answers?? Thanks

Its normal for jars out grow your tank faster than you want them to

What sized tank is he in? My old jar grew about an inch a month
Does he accept food sticks? Might be a good time to get him on them

He's in a 30 gal atm though I'm gunna move him to my 100 in due corse and than to a 200. I tried to give him the hikiri food stick but he just chew them up inot small pieces and spit them out. I had to starve him for 3 weeks and he still wouldn't so I gave in.

Mine is doing the same thing but I will not give in, I think it takes a while for them to get used to them.
So what are you feeding instead?

If I were you I'd get that hundred gal ready LOL

Yeah always bigger the better with fish i think. Atm he's eating crickets

I'd start getting it back on pellets, if he's on crickets for too long and nothing else then it will be hard to get him on other foods later.
