I have asked this question before but it seems to be getting worse my arowana seems to not like you going near the tank he will dart from one side of the tank to the other but once it comes to food he doesn't do it.is there a way to settle him down or will he grow out of it??

How big is your fish and how large is your fish tank?

I have a 48inch light with two t8's I will try tacking the back light out make it darker at the back. More try some more plants even. Do arowana grow out of being like this?

if your arowana is just over 6 inches you need to put in a smaller tank as a grow out then let it grow out more in the 180.
6 inch aro in a 180 can hurt itself if it slams into the tank wall/glass from darting from side to side. how long have u had it?
if u just got it let it settle in. leave the lights off and try to walk around the tank often but not to close so the aro can see u
and get familiar & etc.
