Are Jars and Leis same species? I read somewhere that they are the same species, and they sure look very similar to me. If they are different species, what are the differences?

They are acutally two different speices.. with similar genus.. Scleropages.But Lei are the thinner and lighter color version of Jardini..

They also occupy in different regions in Australia.. so cross breeding never occurs.. I dunno if theres reports of A Jardini and Lei hybrid.. but i'm guessing theres enough DNA difference in their genetic code that Scientist would give them different names...
