had my jar for one year now and took pics almost every month since ive had him of his growth. Sorry some of the images are blurry since they were taking on my phome :irked: but you get the general idea. any input about his growth rate and general appearance will be greatly appreciated :)

i seen the 1st pic and was thinking wow that is small for a year old jar. nice looking jardini you have.
 
thanks! and yeah the first pic is on the day that i bought him and goes on till the last one that shows him one year later. Hes roughly about 18'' in length now.
 
Beautiful coloration. In addition to growth rate it is really interesting to watch the progression of coloration as well. Stunning Jar!
 
yeah you can really tell in the different photos how important it is to have a good substrate and background if your really trying to bring out the color in your Aro. heres some better pics from a nice camera i took recently.

Those colours are amazing. Mine has just hit 4" and I would be happy if mine looked half as good as yours.
That fish is stunning.

You mentioned background and substrate.
What about lighting? Any specific lights or?

as far as my lighting goes i have a cheap strip light that i use from walmart cost me 12 bucks and the lights are just zoo med T8 cheap bulbs lol
